Gypsona® Plaster Bandages remain the industry standard for making a fast, strong support shell specially in lifecasting applications. The bandages are immersed in water and layered over cured a silicone rubber mold. When dry, they form a rigid support shell (or “mother mold”) that holds the rubber mold in shape during the casting process.
Can be used with Smooth-On's Body Double or Body Double SILK. Also, Alja-Safe® Acrobat alginate.
